Stained Glass

Here are just a small collection of some of the work I have undertaken over the years. Click on the images to enlarge.

Circles are one of my trademark designs. I work beyond the plain often to try to create the illusion of traveling beyond the surface. The customer asked me to design something for them that was original.

Bubbles h540xw610mm)
The customer asked for a window for the bathroom window that was based around  a bubble motif. By using small quality pieces of glass in the design the bubble shapes sing out when the sun catches them.

Yorkshire Moors
(h1350xw800mm)
Front door panel with the Yorkshire moors as the inspiration. The original panel and woodwork were removed and a single panel installed.

Durham Window
(h500xw1000mm)
This window was completely designed and agreed upon by letter. I then delivered and installed the panel which fitted exactly as expected. The customer wanted a design that was organic and reflected the colours from the garden.

Number 28
Here the customer wanted a replacement set of panels for the ones that had been remove years ago. Following fairly traditional designs we agreed upon symmetrical set of panels that were installed along with the necessary safety glass needed these days.
Falling Blue
This set of door panels has a combination of traditional stained glass techniques and stacked glass incorporated into the design. Again the effect of light playing across the edges of the strips of glass brought a new dimension to the panels when lit either by daylight of internal lighting.
